Hey, I have heard of that fellow, but I don't remember where that is celebrated. From where do you hail, if you don't mind my asking?

Im from the little country called "the Netherlands". **where pod is legalized?** yes, where pod is legalized. Man, get over it! **Schizofrenic??? Me??? No, you!!! **confused**.
Well this is how it is:
Every year in November this fellow sets sail from spain to bring gifts to our country. The beginnings of this holiday dates back to around 400AD, when a guy named Sint Nicolaas(chatolic Bishop) put coins in the boots off poor orphins. He was born on december 5th. Around 1500AD the chatolic church wanted to pull the kids closer towards them. Thats why they created Sinterklaas.(Sint Nicolaas-coins in boots of children turned too sweets and presents in boots of children) Sinterklaas gave sweets and presents to all the little children, just like Santa Claus. Around 1900Ad the children got smarter**where does this old man come from?** The Dutch society thought about it and maid up that he came from Spain(while the bishop Sint Nicolaas came from Turkey)(quite easy to sail from Spain to Holland). Around that time the"zwarte pieten" came into the picture. These people are Sinterklaas's helpers(just like the elfs from Santa Claus). The Zwarte Pieten are black as Charcoal from climbing through the chimneys to put the presents in the peoples houses. Well that quite covers the whole story)don't look at the gramar-flaws, Im drunk)

Drunk? That's the way it looks, yes, but I'll let it slide. And I knew about half of that. That's pretty interesting.
