I'm not that good at writing stories. Vic is, but not me. So, if you think you can write, and write a WoT story at that, post it hear, but in paragrapsh. Like two or three. If you want to continue, maka another post.

Okay okay. How about five to six paragraphs. Mabye eight. But you can always start another post to finish it.

Tony, you're being a bit, um, unrealistic. Take a look at fanfiction.net. It would take a heck of a lot of posts to fit some of the better stories into divisions of eight paragraphs. Unless there's a Proboards restriction on the amount of text per post or amount of content on a website, there seems to be no reason for this rule.
And if you still doubt my opinion, open a Wheel of Time book. See how many posts it would take to put a chapter of that onto a board with your rules. How about a fairly lenient word limit, like 7000 words (WORDS, not CHARACTERS) per post, or a chapter limit, such as one chapter per post?
Well, it's your board, so you decide what's best. But... consider how inconvenient it would be for an author to divide their stories into divisions of eight paragraphs! Even copy/pasting from a word processor, like I do with some sites, would be tough under your requirements.

Victor, I must agree with you wholeheartedly on this topic, although I cannot guarantee me actually posting any stories here, it is just wrong to confine one to 5 or 6 paras

I suppose it is a bit to unrealistic to put 5-6 paragraphs for a story. I'll go with the one chapter a post, okay?

Just start a new thread with the title of the story as the name of the thread.

Sorry. I didn't notice. I don't pay attention very well, unless I want to pay attention, then I really pay attention and then forget what I just learned.

No it is not. It just happens in school sometimes. Like in Civics or English. Be glad you are not in Mr. J's English. He makes the WORST jokes imaginable and repeats them a couple of times. Not all in the same hour or week, but he still repeats them.
