Does anyone recall when Rand, Hurrin, and Loile met Cyndane(Lanfear) in the refletion world? She said as they rode that some worlds are almost identical to ours. Then she pointed out to Rand a symbol on the Portal Stone that mean "true world". I don't think they are in their world. I think Lanfear brought them to an alternate world that let the Shadow win the LB. But thats me.

What? You mean that you think that ever since they went to the Portal Stone World, they have been elsewhere, while in the "true world" the Dark One takes over? Hmm...now that is an idea that I do not hear very often. Unfortunately for you, I do not agree. I believe I remember them going back, and I think I would catch such a thing as staying in an alternate world.

Remember Lanfear said some worlds are just like ours but some one thing changed. They could be in a different universe and not meet themselves because in that universe, Rand never left the Two Rivers. So when Rand figures it out, he goes back to his world at the last battle and defeats the Shadow. And I know its not a theory heard often. I posted it because the board is about the Books and debating of them.

What you say is true, but I don't think that is how its going to happen. If Everyone Rand has been in contact with and everything he has conquered after he went through the portal stones is done in another universe and Rand realizes this and goes back to his own, people won't even recognize him as The Dragon Reborn, so how is he going to fight the hordes of the Dark one then alone? And if Rand went to another universe the BT couldnt be founded and the Tower couldnt be broken and... and... and... So I think RJ is not going to let that happen.

Unless....The Rand in that universe went to this Rand's universe and is doing the same thing except slightly different. So when Rand goes back to his universe its almost how the other one was.

What would the point of that be? Two universes, two Dragons doing pratically the same thing, and then they switch places. That would be pointless and would only be used to make the number of pages longer.

Unless it serves a purpose. The Rand in the this Rand's universe lost the Last Battle, BUT this Rand goes back when the DO is weakend and finishes it.
