Aye. Some things seem different... particularly the message-typing area.

If the Altavista Translator actually works, Silvion said
"Which a splendid day is this. Glorie to all members!"
So true, so very true.

Atlavista Translator...? Is this... a new fad?
And yes, Bob, I'm having a good summer. Relaxing, isolated, almost boring, bug tood.

Monday, June 28th, 2004 at 4:08 p.m. Victor came to the board. Woot! Tony, here's an interesting babelfish result. Translating your above to dutch, then to french, then to english, your message reads: Monday, June 28, 2004 per 4:08 p.m.s Victor came to the council. Woot! Not that different, but slightly humourous nonetheless.

there are a few Dutch and French words in it. BTW, Loodje is Dutch.
Lood is Lead and a loodje is a piece of fishing equipment(you put a small piece off lead on the fishing-line to make it sink).
There is also this second meaning: Loods- schipper. In the days off the European colonialism Dutch ships travelled throughout the world. The "compass"or "map" was a guy named loods. He could read the see like a book! It takes about 10 years as an apprentice to become a true loods. Their Journals where considered priceless due to the great store off information gathered througout the years and the fact that they passed on from master to apprentice.
