GTA just isn't my type of game. Period. *seconds that* I don't think I'd like such a violent game, although I've heard the music on the radio stations is good. (Yes, I hear a lot of gaming gossip, most of which is irrelevant. So sue me.) I've played a lot of good games - Fire Emblem among them. So, yeah, I'd highly recommend it. Anyone who is a fan of RPGs, try Neverwinter Nights for the PC. Based on Dungeons and Dragons, and has a certain charm of character customization. Chrono Trigger is also good, for those who prefer Final Fantasy-style RPGs. The story is pretty bloody good, and manages to contradict itself surprisingly little for a game based around time travel. The game offers a pretty good challenge if you're not overleveled (the Mountain of Woe, the first time fighting the Golems), and some of the anime cutscenes are VERY impressive (Frog, a sword, and a cave - that's all I'm saying so as to avoid spoilers.). Finally, for PC gamers, give Starcraft a try. It's a PC game with three almost perfectly balanced races (the Zerg are underpowered, but since Blizzard is still patching the game, that might change), a free multiplayer, and a gripping story mode. Vote for it to beat Legend of Zelda: Windwaker on GameFAQs this Saturday. To all console gamers: Did you find E3 particularly impressive?

I like various game types. My favorite is the strategy genre(rise of nations, age off mythology, red alert, starcraft etc.). I also like games like GTA: Vice City(I mean, common guys, you can kill granny's!).
