I found out my character's first name isn't so unique. If you look back into the Shadow Rising when Rand is among the columns in Rhudien, he sees the past of the Aiel. A certain point he sees, right when the Breaking was starting, has my character's first name in it.
Jaric Mandoran was a male channeler who killed thousands of Aiel that had linked their arms and sang to him. They tried to make him remember who he was, but failed. All of them died, but their death let others escape from Jaric's madness.
Thought you may want to know.
