Thoughts on the White Tower?

Alright, cool. And for my first event...how 'bout the one I already came up with? Saves me some work, anyway.

It sounds good to me and it wil ldo us good to get a real good story going. Oh by the way you guys should check out my story in the stories area. It is chapter one of a installment that will probably in up being 50 of so chapters. I am doing it for class and so far its coming along great. The next chapter will be posted by thursday and if any one wants to create a character for the sotry let me know.

Yeah I think the biggest problem is the creative mind can only think of so much before ideas start to run out. It can be a big challenge to think of new stuff to role play about.

Alrighty, so now that I've got all my spell casting out of the way...

To go back to the original topic of this thread, I again would like to say it would probably be a good idea if we had a White Tower Board, as well as a Black Tower one. Tar Valon and the Tower are two completely different things, and it would be more organized it the two were separated.

As for what we were talking about when last someone posted here, the events thing doesn't really seem to be well-suited for our style of RPing, simply due to player independence. What we do have, however, is most of our characters in Tar Valon at the moment, where my proposed Event would began. Bob's and my characters couldn't take part, as the Aes Sedai know we channel, but everyone else could.

Furthermore, I believe that the events would be better suited for the D20 Role Playing system, which, so help me, will be introduced soon. So if we can get the D20 system up and running, I'll start churning out Quests/Events, and possibly even volunteer to be a GM. ^^

And basically, the only reason I didn't make a new thread was because 1. I'm lazy and 2. this stuff is already here, and I like to keep things organized. So, thoughts?

I think it would be nice for there to be at least a area on the board that is only for Aes Sedai of the White Tower. It would not have to be much just areas were each ajah could post there ideas and the nyou would need a section for the hall and other figures of power. It would probably attract more women to the board and it would be good to have other Aes Sedai players around. So if you do decide to try to include a section for the White tower i would very much like to help out in anyway I can. My knowledge of the books are quite extent mainly in the White Tower, and other Aes Sedai affairs and movements. I will be leaving tomorrow to go to the beach til Tuesday but I will try and check up on things going on here if I can.

A see a White Tower board with sub-boards for each Ajah, even password protected perhaps.

And I want D20!!

If a White Tower board were to be made, it would not be made for socializing. It would be made for RPing. The only reason I have a Black Tower board is because it is not in a city of it's own and it is an indipenant thing. The White Tower is stationed in Tar Valon and it controls the affairs of the city. It's much easier to just make a White Tower suboard in the Tar Valon board then make a whole new board all together.

As for the d20 thing, you will have to talk to with Victor on that. I thought he was the one organizing it.

Ooh, I must say, good thinking Tony. A White Tower Sub-Board is a good idea.

And I didn't know that. I didn't even think we got far enough in "development" to pick a team leader, so to speak.

I like the idea of a sub board with each ajah and I think it would be a good extra for those who wish to be a part of the tower. Though it would take a while to orgainze the ajahs mainly because we would need members to join them, but I think it would work given time. The first step is to set it up and organize how it will look, and operate.

For now, I'll simply add the White Tower Sub-Board. Once we have more Aes Sedai running around, then we'll play with the idea of individual Ajah boards. For now one will be enough.
