Yesterday was quinzee day at my school. We spent the whole day outside building quinzees in the softball field. For those of you who do not know what they are, they are tiny snow huts. You take a lot of snow, make a big pile, pat it down, and dig out the inside. It took most of the school day, but my group managed to make a nice quinzee.

Interesting, I find this slightly interesting, must have been rather fun to get a day off. Well atleast most of a day.

Yeah, we usually do it every year. But then, we have the snow to do it.

The field in which we made the quinzees had only a foot of snow. The worst thing was that the snow was that grainy sugary kind. It doesn't make very good quinzees.
