I don't like how things are getting all polically correct. Now instead of Merry Christmas it's Happy Holidays. Now it's Happy Turkey Day instead of Happy Thanksgiving. Bugs the hell out of me.

Would it be so bad if a Muslim were president? You can't mix church and state, you know. He may press for the name changes, but he cannot change them just because he is president.

true true, I just don't like the idea, but that is just me, to a smaller degree I have a...dislike for there relgion. Also I was watching history channel last night, and some one they were interviewing was protesting against thanksgiving, because of what it did to the indians, thus they sugested that we call it "turkey day" so that it wouldn't offend them.

Happy Thanksgiving. Turkey Day. Whatever. Though technically it was over 14 minutes ago. I should be sleeping. But I'm not. Who needs sleep? Anyhow, how did all of your Turkey Days go, if you celebrate them? I overate, as usual. I try to have a little of everything, but always take too much stuffing and mashed potatoes and end up regretting it. Always. I know it's going to happen, but it only happens once a year, the rest of the year it's cold cereal and PB&J, hurrah for never wanting to cook...

If Thanksgiving represents being thankful for what we have and whatnot, what the hell does Turkey Dat represent? Nothing! Yes people mistreated the Native Americans and I feel bad for them. I actually wish no one came over the Americas and that we all stayed in Europe, Africa, and Asia. But Thanksgiving isn't saying "We pwned your ass Indians" it's saying "Be thankful for what you have, it may not be there later".
So stop calling it Turkey Day.
