Probably the most annoying aspect of school next to actually attending. Not only is it a test, but a major test that covers a whole semester and is worth 30% of your grade.
Personally, I do not like tests. They make me a bit nervous inside. Taking an exam is much worse, especially when you have a bunch of them within days of each other.
The only good thing I can think of about exams are that you do get to review what happened over the year and say that this assignment was annoying or this assignment was fun. You could say you get no homework during exams, but you have to study. That cancels the no homework out.
What are your views and thoughts on exams?

This deserves a bump. Exams aren't so bad for me, as long as I know the material. However, like this Latin Final I have coming up, I'm scared shitless about how I'm going to do.

Mine are over too. I got A's on all except Latin, which I don't know yet. Yay, I think.

*twitch* 26 hours is not a healthy amount of class to take while in college. Just keep this in mind...
I'm taking tests all the time. But I can't say I've ever stressed over a test. They're a measure of when you remember. If I can't remember, then I deserve a bad grade. That's may view of it all, anywho.

You mean, 26 hours of class time in one (and part of the next) day? 'Cause that is a hell of a lot of class time. But if you split that up into five days, that's only 5 days and 1 hour. Normal school is around 7 hours a day.

I wish I could logically explain why less class time is actually more difficult. Don't know, though. Maybe it's the 2-4 hours of homework from each class, reading assignments, speech preparations, plus doing laundry, eating, sleeping, trying to enjoy oneself a litte by reading A Song of Ice and Fire, etc. Who knows.

Yes, yes, I get the point now. But you know, it is kind of your fault. You wanted to be a civil engineer.
By the way, what book are you on in ASoIaF?

Heh, I know it's my fault. I didn't even have to sign up for this many classes. But it does give me a pretty nice scapegoat if I'm ever grumpy or late for anything. ^^
And I'm starting the third one, A Storm of Swords.

I'm about a third of the way through A Clash of Kings. I would be ahead of you except that I took a break and read The DaVinci's Code, Angles & Demons, and Deception Point. All three were very good.

I want Ned. T_T *cough*
Yeah, I plan to take a little break from fantasy and read some other stuff, soon.
And to stay on topic...exams are stupid. Especially in Calc III. Twelve points off for one little mistake...*grumbles*

Twelve points?! That's worse than my English teacher's tests and exams. He weighs them heavely and it's difficult for some students to pass. I did fine with an A-.
Aye, I was shocked when he was written out of the book. It seemed so unexpected. Along with Renly, but not so much as Ned. Ned was my favorite character.
