Seriously, what would rather have happen to your corpse? Personally, I would want to be cremated, put in an urn, and have the next five generations of my family have to display me somewhere in their house.
Buying expensive coffins, lining them with silk and padding, and buying a good suite just for a body is a bit stupid. You're wasting all that money just to bury a body. Don't talk to me about respect for the deceased. We complain about global warming, but we can fix that. Don't use rainforest trees for coffins. The rainforest is a big supplier of our oxygen and the trees take in a lot of harmful things to people. By cutting down the rainforest you are speeding up global warming.
Yes, I realize there is smoke when you burn a body. You don't need to burn the body, either. You could just dump it in a hole and be done with it.
That's where I stand.

Wow. You have managed, at least in part, to blame people who are buried in coffins for global warming.

Pwnd. I too would prefer to be cremated..but I'd like to have a bodypart dismembered, embalmed and sent into space with the ashes. Is that a bad thing?

I'm sorry, but I don't like the heat all that much. I would prefer pine trees to tropical trees. I like the smell of pine sap.
Metz, I don't think that would be bad. It's space. It's pretty big. We don't have to worry about polluting it for awhile (Wow, I sound like people who settled in the Americas in earlier times. "It's a new world, we can pollute it for awhile before we need clean it up.")

Yeah you do...but I would rather be put into a empty photon-torpedo shell, and shot into a graviton anomaly and be reborn on a new forming planet! XD
ok that went over most peoples head, I think I would rather be cremated.

Well you would have to admit, that is had the ability to transfer your mind, then get a new body, instead of die-ing wouldn't you take a chance?

Personaly I think it's more feasable that aliens would discover my adrift limb, take it aboard and recreate me from what was left of my DNA. What about if you had your head preserved and then torpedo'd it into an anomaly, along with my idea of embalming a limb and setting it adrift. Double rebirth?

If I could move my mind to a new body, preferably a clone of myself, I would do it. To tell you the truth, I'm afraid of dying. I'm going to try my best not to die.

Well I understand your fear of death, but personaly I really don't care about death, to me if I die I die, I'll be punished for my crimes, and sentaced to either heaven or hell.

You see, I'm agnostic. So whatever devine being (if there is one) that is going to judge me, I want to wait as long as possible and do some good to try and get on their good side.

I want to be shred to pieces by a grinder and then I would like them to feed me to parrots.

personally, cremate me. dance around the fire and laugh like the drunken maniacs you are while you're burning me. i won't mind. people are too damn somber at funerals. live it up, the person there is no longer bound to the mortal coil. i tend toward atheistic, so don't mind my incessant blubberings.

I have this totally irrational fear of necrophiliacs, so cremation it is. But really, I'd prefer to be cremated. The idea of my body decomposing in a hole kind of grosses me out. I told my mom I'd want her to cremate me (but I said incinerate because sometimes I mix those two up and she got confused) and then take my ashes and dump them into the ocean or something crummy and romantic like that. As far as I know, that's the plan.
