How bright do you want it?
And the board is titled The Wheel Weaves, Victor. Not The Black Tower. That name has been taken by a number of other boards.
Along with the new theme, I think I am going to archive all the threads that have not been active for two weeks. I'll leave the RP threads alone, however. Those are too important to archive.
Also, think up of new category and board names along with discriptions for the boards. Keep it on the Black Tower theme, but don't take existing boards and rename them. Come up with your own board names, discriptions, and use. Some of these boards we just don't need.

You could still do the farmhouse bit, though. And as for how bright I want it... that's a good question. I think there could be a bit more difference between background color and text, and making the margins somewhat brighter would be nice as well. I don't know though -- if other people like what you have, don't change it.

There's an overwhelming difference between this place and that place? It has a black background, and grey text. I think it's too dark, as well.

I am not an expert. I barely have enough imagination to get this whole thing going. But I might try something to the colors to see if will look better. I'll tell you when I do try it. Right now, I don't have enough time to do it, but I will later in the day.

I've only seen it used for the admin; if the admin views the guests, it gives a popup with their IP.
He doesn't have to change it, but he can add more options to how the forum can look. Not everyone is going to like how it looks, and if they can choose, they're more likely to join and stay.

I would give suggestions for hex codes, but I don't really have any ideas, as I like the current colors. If you need help with images (such as thee UBBC buttons, etc.), as long as you give me hex codes, I can help with that.
(I'll post some suggestions for stuff later, it's late, and I'm getting to bed.)

your the admin, that it your choice, you don't allways have to ask the opinions of the people on the board. But I suport the idea of a new skin.

Well remeber, this forum is skin-able. So if say tem likes the blue, and bob likes the black, they can both view it as they choose with out it effecting the overall board for everyone. One part is, if you do make another skin, you have to set a base skin, that guests and users who don't know how to change the skin to view. So if a new person went to register, they would see the base skin (like the black one you have now) untill they change the skin for themselves. Personaly I like the blue one also, there all hex codes from my "dark blast" image. *laughs*

In all far-ness to the creator of the logo, it is good. But I've grown alittle tired of it, so if your not going to change the skin, can I atleast pitch some ideas for a new logo?
