I know there are die hard Trekkies out there who refuse to watch the movie. Well, its their loss. Personally, I enjoyed it very much. It was also the best movie experience I ever had having sat in the second row in an IMAX theater.
The picture was so clear, the sound so sharp, and the screen so big. I thought I was literally in the movie. Hell, I got misty eyed in the first five minutes of the movie because of how into the movie I was. I give Star Trek a solid 10 out of 10.

Wow, I haven't seen it because of all the other cool movies on my list. Now that my budget isn't that big I can only see about 1 movie a month.
I can recommend "Angels and Demons". Its not historically correct, but what else do you expect from Dan Brown. Its very exciting though and it has got a great epic atmosphere. If you just shut out everything you know about medieval and early modern Europe then you will definitely enjoy this movie. 7/10

I did want to see that. I read both Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code for shits and giggles and throughly enjoyed reading both (as works of fiction). Even the movie was okay. I may yet go see it.
But you really should see Star Trek at least once. It is well worth it.
