Now that TF2 has become more popular among gamers, anyone else here play it?
My favorite class to play is Demoman. He's my specialty and I can't wait for the achievements for him.
Then my next favorite class would probably be Medic. I like pairing up with a Heavy and going to town on the enemy

I don't play many games at this time due to exams and such. I do play some CoD5 now and then though.

Sad to say, I've never actually played TF2. I wanted to, for a time, but I just never got around to actually purchasing it. And then I got busy; grad school is a pain. So tell me, is it worth picking up? What sets it apart from other multiplayer shooters? Why do my questions sound like English class prompts?

It is definitely worth it. It is a nice blend of humor and destruction. Each class has its own personality and quirks which make them fun to play.
The only downside to the game is that when Valve release updates for the classes to get achievements and new weapons, everyone wants to be that class. I played a round today in which there were seven snipers. We lost. Terribly.
