Its for my laptop. It is a little tray with fans on it and it is suppose to help cool it down. My laptop is a beast. Its gotten so hot that it has to shut itself down to keep from overheating anymore. I probably shouldn't run it so hard, but it was meant for gaming. I just hope the $30 I dropped for this Chill Mat is worth it. I am a poor college student and that money could have went for a third of a textbook that I'll never read
