It seems that the revival of the board didn't really pull of, eh? Such a pity, cause I had some great times here on this site.
I am currently re-reading the series. I started of 2 weeks ago and already I'm at book 4. I think the first 3 books are the best of the series along with the last 2.
October 27th...
Tomorrow the new book will be published. I read the Mistborn-series and I think Brandon Sanderson is a great writer. Will he be able to pull of a real Robert Jordan-style WoT-book though? I don't know. We'll see....

Yeah, it just didn't really seem to click this time, huh? But either way, I have the new book on the way to the apartment; it'll be here Saturday. I, too, have read the Mistborn series and it was rather good... but it wasn't Jordan-esque. Just a little while ago I read the first chapter (available on Amazon and I'm sure a thousand other places) and it just didn't seem like Jordan. Which makes sense, since it isn't, but you know what I mean. The first bit about the wind, especially, didn't sit well with me. It seemed rather conversational. But then again, there's a decent chance I just don't remember what they're like; it has been a while since I read a WoT book. I'm going to assume that the book rocks, though, until further notice.

Yeah, the revival didn't work out. No one wanted to put any time into it. It was just me and I can't make interesting discussion topics if I'm talking to myself.
I've got A Memory Of Light for my birthday. I've only read the first two pages because I've been swamped with school reading.

Its just that I'm so freaking busy with school, work, real-life and all. I am at book 8 now and closing in on book 9. I've got Memory of Light here on the shelf, but I can't touch it yet. I'm dying to get to it though.
