Okay. Before I make this board, I want to guage the general interest people would have in it. It would be a social board with no real theme other than to socialize and to meet other people. I'm sure the color scheme would be bland, and there wouldn't be very many forums until people requested them. But still, it would be a social board.
Unfortunately for some, there will be rules. They are as follows:
1.) As the forum will be created using EZboard, you will need an EZboard account to participate (Local or Global, it doesn't matter). Unless I am drastically misinformed, these accounts are free. And assuming I make this board, I may allow certain people to post without an account. However, permission would be granted on a case by case basis.
2.) You must type coherently. I cannot stress this enough. You must at least make an attempt at correct spelling and punctuation. On EZboard, there is a spell check option, so if you participate in the forum, you are expected to use it.
3.) No pointless topics. A small amount will be tolerated, but if it comes to the point when there are more than one or two posts full of emoticons, or more than four or five with absolutely no point to them, those topics will be deleted and you will be punished.
4.) Keep it civil. If you're going to whine about something or argue, at least refrain from being an idiot about it.
Those are the basic rules, but they might be changed before or after the board is created. If anybody is interested, just respond to the poll. If there's enough interest, I'll make the social board and post the link here.
