Nia had her horse at a slow trot as she travelled this small dusty road. It was late afternoon and she hoped to reach the next town before dark. She could stay in an Inn and have a well-deserved rest bfore continuing her journey.
But Nia was no ordinary Traveller. She was an Aes Sedai, newly raised to the Shawl and she was travelling with two puposes. One, to return to visit her family and another, to find a warder. The world was in turbulent times and it was unsafe to be alone. She needed a companion. Another option was remaining at Tar Valon but that didn't appeal to her sense of adventure. She needed to see the world.
She wandered into the town and went to the nearest Inn. It looked a well kept place . She went to the stables where the Stable Boy took Orion off her hands. She slipped him a bronze mark and walked into the Inn.
The Inn was quiet with only a few patrons. Then Inn keeper was a jolly old man.
" I would like one room please with Dinner and Breakfast Included" She hid her serpant ring. Amadacia was no place for an Aes Sedai.
"Yes my Lady!" he lead her to a comfy room and Nia unpacked her things. She washed away the dust of the road and went downstairs.
She sat at a table and waited for a meal.
Suddenly, her stomach tied itself in knots. Two Whiteclaoks walked in.
What was she going to do?
