Carra raced across the rooftops of Caemlyn as fast as she could. She knew that if she got far enough away, fast enough, she wouldn't get caught. It was night, and too dark for that man to have recognized her.
As she reached the end of the line of houses, she looked for an easy way down, but couldn't find one. She slid down to the edge of the roof, and swung into an open window.
