Since I'm bored, and since Quibly did his:
Name: Drake Gender: Male Description: Tall (6' 1"), Dark Hair, Blue Eyes. Strengths: Channeler (Strong in all five. Out of Five: Spirit-5, Fire-4, Earth-4, Air-4, Water-3), Excellent Swordsman. Weaknesses: Just a tad insane, and evil, not too strong physically. Bio: Born in the Land of Madmen, he does not fit the bill quite well. He has been trying for years to get out of the place, but unsuccessfully. Perhaps a Sea Folk Vessel will help him out...
Name: Elisande Gender: Female Description: Medium Height (5' 0"), Dark Hair, Brown Eyes, tan skin. Strengths: Channeler (Strong in all five. Out of Five: Spirit-5, Fire-3, Earth-4, Air-4, Water-4). Weaknesses: Bad with any weapons, fearful of capture, weak. Bio: A Seanchan by birth, and a former damane, she was rescued by the Sea Folk shortly after being collared, from a burning ship. She is now attempting to buy her passage to as far from the Seanchan as she can get.
((VIC SAYS: If nobody objects, I approve Bob's characters.))

Hmmm.....I was about to respond saying that you can't have your character's super stong in channeling, but then, they realy arn't. They probably are the few people who are strong in the OP.

Actually, they really are rather strong, just not DR level, who I would rate as a "5". They are all decently strong, maybe a little below Egwene or Elayne in strength.

But see, you didn't break the rule. They arn't so stong that they can defeat Rand and take over the world.

....no. You have to wait unitl Tem or Vic gets on. They are after all, the Mods of this board. If you were a Mod of this board, you'd still have to wait for another Mod to approve your characters. Its sort of a check and balance system.

While your waiting ( ;D name of the board makes sense now, dosn't it?) you could continue your story in Stories.

Just for the record, the Sea Folk do their best to avoid "the Land of the Madmen" ever since they discovered it. They haven't even tried to chart it's shore, so who would one get close enough to pick up a passanger? I am assuming that's what you plan to do, anyway. For instance, take an excerpt from The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time:
The Sea Folk tell fearsome tales of those who chanced to go ashore on the Land of the Madmen and made it back to their ships...Any foreigner runs the risk of encountering channelers of either sex...If the stranger meets no channelers, he is simply overwhelmed by a mob of villagers who attempt to kill on sight anyone unknown to them. There seems no possibility of peaceful contact.Secondly: Tony, Tony, Tony...you appointed Victor and myself to make sure there was nothing too magical going on with the bios. You can read them all you want, but please give us some credit. We wouldn't let him make himself the second Dark One or the Creator in disguise. Now, I am reading these at 2:00 a.m. after a bunch of fun time spent with an english essay, so please excuse my snappiness. I am actually taking a break and it doesn't look as though I will be getting any sleep this evening. Sorry to cause problems, but I'm tired and it's my job. Maybe this will lighten the mood a bit:

Is there any comment to what I said up there, or are we just going to ignore it?

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interfear with your duties. But it does get a little boring with no board to govern .....Wait. I have a whole forum to govern. I'm still depressed anyway.

Eh, being depressed isn't as bad as some people believe.
And as for feeling neglected, I think a little. I want some answers involving this Land of the Madmen character, and then Bob just starts a new thread asking if he should go ahead and start or not.
Probably should have just PMed Bob...oh well. What's done is done.
