My computer, I mean. And I want to get a new one. Dunno just how I'd go about that, so I'd like to ask you.
I don't have a lot to go by - I'd like it to be good at playing computer games, have a decent sound system, have good anti-virus protection, and have a lot of memory. Does anybody here have any clue about what I should be looking at?

Dell 8300, what I have. Its rather cheap, only about $1000, and has excellent processing capabilities. With flatscreen display, it actually has everything you're looking for. I'm not so sure on the price, though, they have a lot of sales events.

Too bad my mom's cousin Mike wasn't still here. He could build you a computer for cheaper than other computer retailers (he's in Florida now).

Interesting. I'll be polling several people I know, as well as several web sites.

Alienware PC's are good for gaming. Don't buy too much of there stuff though they are serious advertisers
