We had to do a report on all the vehicles my parents owned before and after they were married. Then we had to type up three excellent stories about the vehicles so here is one that you can laugh at my dad's expense. Mind you, he was young and it was WAY before I was born.
1965 Grand Prix. They (my dad's family) took it to Phoenix and on the way they had to go through Flagstaff, Arizona. On top of the car they had a luggage rack. They thought they had all the luggage tied down good enough. But when an 18-wheeler went by the wind from the truck blew my dad's suit case off the top (only his!). It hit the front of the U-Haul Trailer and split apart and my dad's underwear and stuff was scattered across the highway. Plus it was windy that day so all his clothes were blowing everywhere. Atop catacus's and brush and rocks and everything else. My dad lost half his underwear and his other clothes. My dad said he wasn't a happy camper because he had some of his favorite toys in there and he couldn't find them.
