What are the first history experiences that got you into history? Mine was a combination of two things. One is that my family travels to ather countries a lot, the other is a book series called, "Horrible Histories" and they are still good. I suggest you check them out.

In 1940 my country was invaded by Nazi's, my grandfather fought them, but the unprepared Dutch army was overrun in a week. He used to tell me stories about the occupation that lasted for 5 years.

ive always been interested in history, but what made me really interested is watching shows about egypt on the history channel
