But that map dosn't show ALL of the Blight. Just some of it. RJ put the WORDS Shayol Ghul on the map, but it isn't in the exact spot, I think. Let me check me reference book.

Shayol Ghul is a desert, as your reference book should clearly state, unless I miss my guess.

It is an island mountain with a tained sea surrounding it. In the AoL it used to be a popular resort. (I think)

No, it used to be an idyllic isle. I think the sea dried up. BTW, I'm writing the interperetation of the Last Battle in Stories. See if you like it. Edit: Actually, I won't. I'll fine tune it.

Keyword: USED to be a resort. The sea dried up and became a desert through the DO's influence, IIRC.

The sea did NOT dry up because they use the taintness of the sea to dip the weapons of the shadowspawn in there. Example, a Fade's sword gets dipped in the tainted sea.

Um, no, Tony. I happen to know for a fact that they dipped the weapons into a tainted black river, the only one of its kind in the Blight, but not a big one, nor did it reach the ocean. It was merely in Shayol Ghul, like the river Styx.
