Some Thoughts

You guys, I have that urge again to draw up a skin for the board. But this time, I hope to fulfill what I am going to start. When I draw each graphic (i.e. Banner, Icons, ect) I'll show it to you guys first before I make a request for someone to make it. That way, you guys can tell me what's wrong with it, what I should add, ect. I hope to keep the same forum colors though. We are just going to be adding some graphics.

And another thought came to mind. Sometimes, when other boards redo their look, like a graphics board for example, they always add version 2 or something at the end of their board title. I was thinking of this for us: The Wheel Weaves: Rebirth. Again it was just a thought about a new title for a new board look.

I thought about this also. To change the theme to more of a Randland theme. Not just a specific area, but in general. Like the ranks would be Lord/Lady, Noble, ect. But then again, we can stick with our BT theme. We just have to reinforce that theme to make people know its a BT theme.

Please just state your opinion on this subject. Thanks.

I think we should go with a more general WoT-world theme(like lord/lady, as you said). About the redo: I think its a good idea to do it, but don't change the boards title, its fine as it is.

Board title is fine, I agree. It isn't going to be such a change to warrant a "new version."
That theme was suggested earlier in the year. I think we should go with it, as well.
Go for it. But like you said, just let us see it before you change everything.

Oh. I wanted the new title, but I guess I won't.

Anyway, I was going to draw up a whole sketch of what I want the board to look like, but then I asked myself, "Why go through all that work when you can just draw the individual graphics?". So that is what I'm going to do. I'm going to draw the individual graphics, show you guys, then submit them with your approval.

Um, I completely support new graphics and such, but I probably won't have any opinions on what you do. I'm not very qualified to judge graphics beyond "Huh, looks cool," and "Eww..."

We have a few problems that I must bring up.

1. Are we going to go with the Black Tower theme or are we going to go with the overall Randland theme?

2. If we go with the overall Randland theme, are we going to change the forum colors?

3. Someone needs to revise or redo the discriptions of the boards no matter what theme we go with (i.e. Surrounding Area).
