Name: Ghaelric of the Stone River sept of the Taardad Aiel
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Height: 6'7"
Eyes: Green
Hair: Red
Weight: 185 lbs.
Description: Ghaelric is a tall man; well, most Aiel are taller than wetlanders. He is lean, muscular and quick... like most Aiel. He moves with the grace of a wolf and has an air of readiness to strike... like most Aiel, again. His cadin'sor is gray-brown-green in color, the first one to do so since the Aiel have left to seek He Who Comes With the Dawn; completely unneccessary, really, for Ghaelric can hid anywhere that has enough space for his body compacted... like most Aiel, once again.
He has a scar crossiing his right forehead right down to his right chin, crossing his right eye; he almost lost it when he got that scar. Another scar runs from his nose to his left ear, crossing his cheek. Describing all the scars on his body.. that will take too long. He has a tanned complexion, for he stays under the harsh sun most of the time... shall I say once more?
He always carries five short spears, with a spearhead long enough to go through a man's chest with steel to spare, a hide buckler, his horn bow and a quiver of arrows at his waist. One of his spears is a Power-wrought weapon, though Ghaelric is unaware. He also carries a waterskin and a gold disc he got from killing a wetlander lord who thought he could best Ghaelric in one-on-one combat.
Strengths: Melee combat, ranged combat, trading and haggling, perception, hiding, hunting, tracking, speed and endurance, humor (for Aiel)
Weaknesses: The Power, deeper-than-wadeable water, humor (for wetlanders)
Background: Ghaelric is of the Stone River sept of the Taardad Aiel, and is a Sha'mad Conde, in the Old Tongue, a Thunder Walker. He was raised born a warrior, raised a warrior and fought with the Shaido, joined raids against the Shaido, and generally despised the Shaido; the blood feud only enhancing the hatred for the already-unliked clan. He even became gai'shain once, and to a Maiden!
He went out of the Three-Fold Land to seek He Who Comes With the Dawn, the Dragon Reborn to these wetlanders, along with others who did the same. He's heard of rumors of a man, they claim he's the Dragon Reborn, in the sky fighting another man with a face of fire. From the chalk drawing sold by peddlers he met, he'd think the man was Aiel. Well, they did say He Who Comes With the Dawn was born of a Far Dareis Mai.
Once, he met a so-called blademaster. The man was an adventurer; he had collected various artifacts, and kept them in a knapsack. The man had a sword and Ghaelric was disgusted. The wetlander blademaster didn't like the look Ghaelric was giving him, so he challenged the Aiel to a fight. His spears against his blade. As much as Ghaelric hated seeing a sword, he fought the man; he can't back out of a challenge, and from a weakling wetlander! His ji was on the line, so he fought. The fight was short; the man was about to strike, but Ghaelric kicked the man's knees, and he fell down; he was still carrying that heavy knapsack. Soonafter, a spear was touching his head; Ghaelric did not want to kill the man. To kill was as easy as dying; a fool can do either. As a prize, more of a plea to not kill him, the blademaster gave a spear which he never used; this spear was Power-wrought, but he did not know. Ghaelric was not the owner of Power-wrought sper.
Currently, he travels with a small group of six Taardad Aiel, travelling a bit too far into the wetlands, seeking He Who Comes With the Dawn.
