He's a darkfriend. And he's probably trying to steal the Asha'man away from Rand so he'll lose a large chunk of support when the Last Battle comes. Sounds good to me, anyway.

I think it's quite obvious that he's a darkfriend, and quite likely that he's one of the Forsaken, new or otherwise. I also think it's rather clear that he is creating a force of Asha'man loyal solely to him to be used on the side of the Dark One in the Last Battle or to be used against Rand anytime in the near future. I don't know that all of these men are darkfriends though.. whether they simply buy into whatever he tells them or whether he's controlling them or what. Hmm....

I dont think he is one of the forsaken because all of the male forsaken except Moridin are dead ive heard some people claim that he is Moridin and it is possible but i belive he is most likely a dreadlord and the leader of something like a male counterpart to the Supreme Council of Thirteen which rules the black ajah. Also as to the lord of Chaos thing thats been going around i remeber the dark one saying that the Lord of Chaos shall be named Nae'blis and we we all know Moridin is now Nae'blis and taim is a servant to the lord of chaos as stated in KOD when he recites this

I think Taim is what Fain previously was: a very high ranked darkfriend. One that can channel on top of that, so he'll probably be the male head of the Black Ajah on top of that.

Theres no doubt that hes a very high darkfriend but he isn't a forsaken or at least not yet.
